How does nubbio keep your data private?
Everything you save is stored in an encrypted database on your device, with its key in the Apple Keychain. nubbio has no account and no servers that hold your content, and its AI features are off until you turn them on. You can export or delete everything at any time.

Encrypted on your device
nubbio creates its encrypted database and the database key before you see the first screen. The key is kept in the Apple Keychain on this device. If either step fails, nubbio explains what happened and never falls back to storing your data unencrypted.
On the Mac, nubbio also keeps encrypted backups. A recovery key opens them on a new or reset Mac.
App Lock, your choice
When you first open nubbio, you decide whether to lock it, and how: Face ID, Touch ID, your device passcode or password, or a nubbio password. Your data is encrypted either way. Making the lock weaker, or turning it off, needs the current protection first.
AI stays off until you turn it on
nubbio works fully without AI. If you connect an AI provider, it runs under your own account with that provider. High-risk AI actions always need fresh Face ID or your passcode, even when App Lock is off, and Emergency Stop blocks all AI work at once while your tasks keep working.
Only what you choose is read
Calendars are read only from the calendars you select, and never changed. Commitment Radar reads only the folders, documents and notes you choose, on your device.
Yours to take or delete
Export all your data, or delete all of it, on every plan, in the app’s settings.
This website
This website has no forms, sets no cookies of its own and loads its fonts from its own server. It is hosted by Cloudflare and uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits; that script is the only one from outside this site. The privacy policy has the details.
Questions
Can nubbio see my tasks or notes?
No. They stay encrypted on your device, and nubbio runs no servers that receive them. That is also why nubbio cannot restore or delete your data for you: it does not have it.
Do I need an account?
No. Open the app and start. Purchases go through your Apple account.
Does nubbio sync between my devices?
Not yet. Sync between devices is not available.
What if I forget my nubbio password?
The password only controls access to the app. Your data’s encryption key stays in the Keychain, so forgetting it never loses data. On the Mac, you reset it with your Mac password or your recovery key.
